A brain hemorrhage is bleeding within or around the brain — caused by uncontrolled high blood pressure, ruptured aneurysms, head injury, blood-thinning medicines or abnormal blood vessels. It is a medical emergency: the bleeding both damages brain tissue directly and raises pressure inside the skull.
Dr. Nilesh Jain provides emergency neurosurgical care for brain hemorrhage in Indore, including craniotomy and evacuation of hematomas, decompressive surgery for severe swelling, and management of aneurysmal bleeds.

Treatment of brain hemorrhage
Small bleeds in stable patients are managed in the ICU with strict blood pressure control, reversal of blood thinners and close monitoring. Surgery — craniotomy and clot evacuation, or decompressive craniectomy — is performed when the clot is large, the patient is deteriorating, or pressure inside the head is rising.
When the bleed is caused by a ruptured aneurysm, the aneurysm itself must be secured (clipping) to prevent a re-bleed. Recovery continues with rehabilitation, physiotherapy and strict control of blood pressure to prevent recurrence.
